Jessie James Decker returned to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest for the third consecutive year as the official Powerball Correspondent.
Ringing in the New Year in the middle of Times Square in New York City, Decker was on hand to reveal the first Powerball winner of 2022.
Decker, a mother of three, went all-out for the occasion, sporting a form-fitting teal sequin bodysuit and a power ponytail by Mitchell Ramazon.
Her makeup artist, Charlie Riddle, shared all the details of her New Year’s Eve look on Instagram and tagging several cosmetic brands used to create the iconic look.
Ahead of the show, Decker modeled her sparkly NYE look on Instagram and drew inspiration from Taylor Swift for her caption.
“I don’t know bout you, but I’m feelin 22!! 💙,” she wrote.
Her post raked in dozens of comments from fellow artists, including Callista Clark and Karen Fairchild who gushed over her loo
2021 has been a milestone year for Decker, who released her seven-track EP, The Woman I’ve Become, this fall.
The project, which was introduced with the feisty breakup anthem, “Should Have Known Better,” is near and dear to Decker’s heart.
“I have been waiting to figure out new music since 2017. I feel like it is the most vulnerable I have ever been before. So, I’m really excited for everyone to hear that side of my songwriting,” she recently told Country Now of the EP. “I have always written songs that were so true to myself in every scenario. From being in love or feeling like I wanted it to be super empowering to women.”
Now, with the project available everywhere, Decker is preparing to bring her music on the road with the launch of her The Woman I’ve Become Tour in early 2022.
Kicking off in April, the trek features rising star Adam Doleac and will make stops around the U.S. through early June.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve also featured performances from Walker Hayes, AJR, Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Windsor, OneRepublic, Journey, Daisy The Great, Ashanti, JaRule, Mae Muller with Polo G, French Montana, Masked Wolf and many more.
The L.A. Party festivities kicked off with five-time NYRE co-host and multi-platinum selling artist, Ciara, with Club Quarantine’s D-Nice spinning the turntables at the celebration.
The star-studded NYRE lineup also featured 17-time host and executive producer Ryan Seacrest in Times Square with first-time co-host Liza Koshy, co-host Billy Porter from New Orleans.
