Jennifer Lopez and Shakira showcased their Latina roots during the 2020 Super Bowl LIV Pepsi Halftime show tonight (Feb. 2) in Miami, FL at Hard Rock Stadium. Shakira celebrating her 43rd birthday today and kicking off the halftime performance with “She Wolf” and also blending together her biggest hits including “Whenever, Wherever,” “Empire” and “Hips Don’t Lie.” Shakira also adding a few bars from Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” blending into her song “Empire,” as she bursted onto the stage in a sparkling red outfit that perfect fit her figure with an electric guitar. 

J.Lo kicked off her performance by singing a medley of songs like “Jenny From the Block,” “I’m Real” and “Get Right” before transitioning into a silver bodysuit, showcasing some moves that she learned from filming, Hustlers, dancing upon a stripper pole at the 50 yard line to “Waiting For Tonight.” 100+ other dancers joining her center stage with some flawless choreography before J. Balvin joined J.Lo for “My Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” Lopez’s daughter Emme also joined Lopez and Shakira for “Let’s Get Loud” to end their extraordinary show.

The two pop music icons demanded fans attention with some impressive choreography from both male and female dancers. J.Lo and Shakira gave Super Bowl LIV viewers a serious dose girl power with their flawless vocals and top-notch dance routines that have been in the works for months leading up to the performance.

The stadium roaring in applause and a massive sing-a-long throughout their entire show, that was also lit up with by lights in the crowd and a grand finale firework display throughout their entire set.
