Jennifer Lopez Receives 2018 MTV Video Vanguard Award at 2018 VMAs

Jennifer Lopez received the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2018 Video Music Awards tonight in New York City at Radio City Music Hall and before accepting her award she performed an incredible melody of her smash hit songs spanning from across her entire  longstanding career. Throwing in hits like “Ain’t Your Mama,” “Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Waiting for Tonight,” “On the Floor,” “Dance Again,” and “Get It Right.” Lopez even brought out JaRule as a guest to the perform “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny” together.

Lopez’ husband Alex Rodriguez was even present in the front row jamming along to her epic performance. Lopez has now become the first Latin artist to win the VMA Vanguard Award, her acceptance speech where she thanked her fans, family, her kids, and her husband A.Rod.

Lopez said, “The universe is infinite, and so is what we can accomplish together, with love and trust and understanding,” she said to her boyfriend. “There so much more to do and to experience, and there is nobody I would rather do it with, baby. You are my macho, and I love you.”
