River House Artists/Columbia Nashville firebrand new artist JAMESON RODGERS made a statement during the sold-out opening weekend of Luke Combs’ BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART TOUR.

Kicking off Thursday (1/31) at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL, Rodgers stormed the stage for his opening slot with streaming hits “Missing One” and “Some Girls,” as well as his own renditions of Chris Lane’s “I Don’t Know About You” and Florida Georgia Line’s “Talk You Out Of It,” both of which Rodgers co-wrote. He also wowed capacity crowds in Huntington, WV (2/1) and Greensboro, NC (2/2) and will continue the trend this weekend in Wichita, KS (2/7), North Little Rock, AR (2/8), and Baton Rouge, LA (2/9).

The Mississippi native moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue a songwriting and artist career. He signed with Combustion Music in 2014, before joining the River House Artists/Columbia Nashville roster earlier this year. Rodgers is also one of three artists chosen for the CMA Kixstart Artist Scholarship inaugural class. His self-titled EP is available now on all streaming platforms and digital retailers.
