JAKE OWEN Paired with PGA Champion Jordan Spieth for The Fourth Consecutive Year at the AT&T Pebble Beach PRO-AM

Big Loud recording artist Jake Owen partnered for a fourth year in a row with PGA champion Jordan Spieth at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

“Playing in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is always one of my favorite weeks of the year. I was truly honored to be partnered for a fourth time with my buddy Jordan Spieth, and to have Dustin Johnson and Wayne Gretzky in our foursome was so awesome. To be able to walk alongside those guys this week was amazing, but the most incredible part for me was having my dad as my caddie. He taught me and my twin brother how to play golf when we were little kids, so walking with him on the greens at Monterey Peninsula is something that is hard to describe and I’ll never forget.”

According to the Golf Channel, Jordan Spieth enjoys having Jake Owen as his amateur playing partner at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Check it out HERE:

During last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Spieth took home the trophy and Owen received the “Arnie” award, named for the great Arnold Palmer, who Jake says is probably the most respected athlete in history. Golf Digest named Owen as a recipient at their “Golfers Who Give Back” event. The award recognized Owen for his many charitable contributions through The Jake Owen Foundation, which was created to offer its support on a national level to children battling cancer and other childhood diseases through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital while also lending its support to youth organizations and various charities in Owen’s hometown area of Indian River County, Fla. The local organizations benefiting from the foundation’s annual concert assist youth with illnesses, shelter, food, education, health and fitness, the arts and the opportunity to better themselves through various programs and organizations.

After receiving the award, Jake said, “My work with The Jake Owen Foundation has been one of the most fulfilling things I have ever been involved with. To me, life isn’t about awards. It’s not about money. At the end of this beautiful life, none of that matters. What matters is the kind of person you are, your character, your legacy. What have YOU done for others?”

Spieth nor Owen took home trophies this year, but by participating in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, they raised money for charity and everyone wins.
