Iron Maiden Unleash The ‘Legacy Of The Beast’ in Philadelphia with Visually Stunning Performance

Heavy metal rock icons, Iron Maiden unleashed the ‘Legacy Of The Beast‘ on Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, performing to a near capacity crowd on Tuesday (July 30) evening. The show brought out the ageless fast-and-furious frontman Bruce Dickinson along with bandmates Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Janick Gers, Niko McBrain and Adrian Smith. Bringing their biggest production yet along with them for their ‘Legacy Of The Beast’ tour with special guests The Raven Age, which features Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ son, George Harris.

Their visually stunning stage show definitely lived up to the hype and far exceeded our expectations as the bands ‘biggest production yet’ as they brought alone some impeccable backdrops and stage props. Bringing the songs and stage to life with camouflage netting surrounding the stage looking like a war-zone scene out of an older war movie, pyro, outfit changes, fireworks and so much more but let us not forget the airplane bomber with a working propeller that was flown above Dickinson and co during the opening song “Aces High.” Not one song in the set went without some sort of specially coordinated, elaborately made prop to accompany the band on stage rather it be a different backdrop or flame throwers or just an outfit change on Dickinson, it make the show a truly stunning visual spectacular with not one design detail being missed!

The band brought a 16-song, 2-hour long set with some of the bands biggest hits like “Run For The Hills,” “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” “Fear Of The Dark,” some deep cuts like “Revelations” and “The Wicker Man.” The overall setlist for the tour is a retrospective of Iron Maiden’s discography, celebrating their biggest hits while throwing in some surprise songs that fans adored hearing live.

The ‘Legacy Of The Beast’ Tour is a tour you don’t want to miss and you definitley want to check out as its a visually stunning spectacular that you will not forget for many years to come.
