After recently announcing the release of their upcoming album I, The Mask out on Friday, March 1, via Eleven Seven Music (North America) and Nuclear Blast(worldwide, excl. North America), Swedish legends In Flames are ready to unleash the third single off their 13th studio piece – the title track, “I, The Mask,” available as an instant download (in addition to previous singles “I Am Above” and “(This Is Our) House” with all digital pre-orders (DIGI, CD, double LP) sales, here: https://inflames.ffm.to/themask. Please find merch bundles here: https://bit.ly/2zgE3W4.

I, The Mask will be available in all formats to accommodate all fans: standard digital album (12 tracks), standard physical digipak CD (12 tracks + 1 bonus) and 2 LP Vinyl (12 tracks + limited edition Jesterhead pop-up in gatefold).

In addition to the pre-order, Jesterheads can watch a visually stimulating lyric video for the title track. “I, The Mask,” that gives us the first look into the album’s intricate artwork.

Vocalist, Anders Fridén says of the new track release and pre-order: “We’re always eager to release new music that we’ve been waiting so long to share with our fans, so days like today are always special to us. The title track is one of our favorite songs on the album so choosing it to release early was pretty easy. This is our 13th album, but every new piece of music we reveal still brings the same amount of excitement and surrealism that this is what we get to do. We can’t wait to experience these songs live together with you for the first time, but in the meantime, thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy.”

In Flames — guitarist Björn Gelotte, vocalist Anders Fridén, guitarist Niclas Engelin, bassist Bryce Paul Newman and drummer Tanner Wayne — brought some major names on board for
I, The Mask, including industry staples Howard Benson for production, Chris Lord-Alge for mixing and Ted Jensen for mastering. Artist Blake Armstrong created the album’s artwork, which is an interpretation of In Flames’ mascot, The Jesterhead.
