iHeartCountry Festival 2020 Presented by Capital One has been postponed due to the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), the event was set to take place on May 2 in Austin, TX at Frank Erwin Center.

Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, Lady Antebellum, Kane Brown, Chase Rice, Jon Pardi, Hot Country Knights and Bobby Bones were set to perform at the festival which has now been postponed.

In the a statement they said, “The Frank Erwin Center announced today it is postponing all events for the immediate future. The May 2 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One at the Frank Erwin Center will be rescheduled at a later date. Our primary goal is always the safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners and we will continue to actively monitor the situation and will provide more information and relevant updates as they become available. Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date.”

University of Texas Vice President and Athletics Director Chris Del Conte said in a statement regarding events at the school’s Frank Erwin Center, “For the health, safety and well-being of all of its patrons, performers and staff, we have decided to postpone upcoming events at the Erwin Center for the near future. After discussion with University officials and leadership at the Erwin Center we believe it’s in the best interest of everyone involved to proceed with an abundance of caution with events at that facility.”
