Ian Munsick has made waves in the country music scene as he performed alongside mega stars Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen. Now, Munsick is set to hit the road on his first ever headlining Westwood tour at the end of this month.

The tour will kick off on September 29 at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, KY with stops in major cities including Charlotte, Chicago, Denver and Tampa. Fellow Wyoming native Ryan Charles will join Munsick on the road.

“Pumped to announce the WESTWOOD Tour will be rollin’ down the road this Fall!” Munsick wrote on Instagram.

“We’ve hit the road HARD the last two years and it’s all been leading up to this,” reflects Munsick. “We’ve played venues of all shapes and sizes from clubs to arenas. Sharing the stage with my heroes has taught me so much about performing, but now it’s time to take those lessons to my fans. It doesn’t matter if we’re playing on the east coast, or in mountain time… you don’t wanna miss these two Wyoming cowpokes punchin’ their way across the country on the Westwood Fall Tour.”

The tour announcement follows the western-influenced singer’s hit “Long Live Cowgirls” with Cody Johnson earlier this year. The track has earned over 45 million streams since its release.

“Humbled to have the #1 song on @sxmthehighway this week! Even better to share it with my buddy @codyjohnson LONG LIVE COWGIRLS ” wrote Munsick on Instagram after topping SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.

Written by Munsick alongside Aby Gutierrez and Phil O’Donnell, the tune finds the two country stars paying tribute to the western lifestyles with lyrics such as “Loves old John Wayne movies / Waltzin’ under them stars” and “Like a paint-colored mustang, she’s fast and she’s wild / stop a runaway freight train with her high-country smile.”

The breakout artist’s most recent release, coined “More Than Me,” is a faith-driven story song from his forthcoming sophomore album co-produced with Phil O’Donnell and written with O’Donnell, Carlton Anderson and Casey Beathard.

“Took me 3 years to write ‘More Than Me’… how we feelin’ bout it?” Munsick shared on Instagram following the release.

Fans took to the comments to praise the track, with one user stating “It gave me goosebumps! One of my favorites!” Another fan praised, “Without a doubt being played at my wedding!”

The up-and-coming singer dropped the official music video for “More Than Me” last month, garnering nearly 90,000 views since the release. The dreamy video gets up close and personal as Munsick belts the romantic tune.
