Hear Demi Lovato’s Vulnerable New Song “Anyone”

Demi Lovato has unleashed her vulnerable new single “Anyone,” which is said to be coming from her forthcoming new album.

She says that the song was “written and recorded very shortly before everything happened” in which she is referencing her 2018 near-fatal overdose. Even admitting in an interview with Beats 1 Radio that the vocals were recorded just “4 days before [her overdose].” Lovato also mentioned in her interview with Beats 1 Radio that she now thinks that the song was “a call for help.” As Lovato says that this song is a bit of her story before and after her overdose. Her emotion-filled, vulnerable single brings hope and inspiration to all of those battling through a darkness to remind them that there is light on the other side.

Lovato debuted the song live on the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards tonight (Jan. 26), the performance was tear-filled and Lovato even had to stop during the opening of the song to hold back tears and be able to sing the song. Watch the performance HERE.

Demi Lovato will be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, February 2nd. Lovato also has more new music coming with another new single after “Anyone” and collaborative music as well as she mentioned in her interview on Beats 1.
