Halestorm is an American hard rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania. After being formed in 1997, the spotlight from fans remain strong. Certainly not strangers to releasing some quality music, Halestorm won their first Grammy award for best hard rock/metal performance in 2013 for their song “Love Bites (So Do I)”. Halestorm returns once again with a bang, with their newest single “Uncomfortable” (via Atlantic Records) alongside a music video set to be on their newest studio album “Vicious”.

The song gets straight to the point with its shredding guitar riffs and fast paced percussion soaked background beats making for a vicious in your face rock’n roll song. Lzzy Hale provides listeners with a reliable vocal technique; an intriguing, raspy, yet smooth sound. As captivating as Lzzy Hale’s vocals are, in no way do they compete with the complementing instruments. The band successfully blends all of its hard rock, heavy metal, post-grunge, pop, and alternative metal elements in a way to create a balanced and enthralling song. Overall, the song is fun and fast paced with crisp drums, fun vocals and catchy riffs. The song is well put together and gives fans a very good feeling for the release of their new album “Vicious”. You can pre-order the new album, HERE.
