Halestorm thanked the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital medical staff for their amazing work during the COVID-19 pandemic with a special message and acoustic performance of their song “I Am The Fire.”

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is located in New Brunswick, NJ.

“We wanted to send out a huge message and a thank you to everybody at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and everybody working there, all the doctors, nurses, EVS staff, the techs, everybody working those frontlines keeping us all safe, we know it’s a tireless job and we just want to thank you so much for doing everything that you can.” said Lzzy Hale during the opening of the video.

“We heard one of our songs I Am The Fire has maybe resonated with you guys and that is so cool, and that resonates with me,” said Joe Hottinger.

“It touched us, so we thought we would do a special performance just for you guys.” Hale chimed in. “We thought we would do a small performance just for you guys.”

“Thank you, and stay strong and keep kicking ass,” Hottinger said before exploding into the acoustic performance.
