Gwen Stefani was recently interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! by guest host Dua Lipa on Monday (August 10).

Lipa talked to Stefani about joining her on the remix of her single “Physical,” her favorite music growing up, getting into country music and spending quarantine with her longtime boyfriend, Blake Shelton.

The “Don’t Start Now” singer got a bit awkward during the virtual late-night show interview when she asked Stefani a question about Blake Shelton in which she referred to him as her “husband” before Stefani corrected her hilariously.

“So I heard that you’ve been spending quarantine with your Husband, Blake Shelton, at the Ranch in Oklahoma. Who else is with you, how was that?” asked Dua Lipa.

“Um, Well he’s not my husband but that sounded cool when you said it,” said Stefani.

Stefani moved on to explain how they’ve been spending their quarantine together and with whom.

“He [Blake] has a Ranch in Oklahoma and we were actually on his tour right when we got shut down from being on tour and so my brother was out with us cause he’s doing all these like behind the scenes and stuff,” Stefani began to explain. “So his whole family came out, so it was me, my three boys, Blake and then my brother, his wife and their two little babies/kids and then her sister and then a friend. So we had like 15 people and it was really actually a lot of fun at first, you know what I mean cause it’s like all a sudden work is over and you just get to like indulge and just being on this ranch everyday was like a new thing like a baby armadillo today or we got baby wild hogs, we gotta get milk and everything turned into like getting to try to like learn how to cook sourdough bread like everyone else in the world. We just had a lot of fun.”

The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as judges on The Voice, the show which both Stefani and Shelton will be returning as judges for Season 19 in 2021. The couple have released 4-duets together including their No. 1 hit “Nobody But You” and their latest “Happy Anywhere.”

Earlier this summer, Us Weekly reported that Stefani wants to marry Shelton when the coronavirus pandemic ends.
