Green Day Fuel Election Day By Giving Out Coffee To Voters In Oakland, California

Green Day is fueling Election Day by giving out coffee to voters in the Oakland, California area.

The band partnered up with World Central Kitchen to donate thousands of cups of their Oakland Coffee brand to give out to voters waiting in line in the Oakland, CA area.

In a clip shared by the band, you can see Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool talking about the Coffee partnership for voters.

“Our Oakland Coffee team is donating up to 10,000 cups of coffee to people who are working at or waiting to vote at polling places around Oakland. Proud to partner w/World Central Kitchen – now let’s get out + VOTE!!,” Green Day captioned the video.

The popular rock band first launched their Oakland Coffee brand in 2015. Since its release it has grown to include five additional roasts, a subscription club and a variety of merch that includes not only the coffee itself but also hats, t-shirts and more.
