grandson Shares New Song “APOLOGIZE”

Fueled By Ramen recording artist grandson has shared an official music for “Apologize,” which is featured on his celebrated new EP, a modern tragedy vol. 2 (see album art / track listing attached).  Produced by Sheehy.TV, and Directed by Jordan Wozy & Lucas Taggart, the“Apologize” official video is streaming now on Fueled By Ramen’s YouTube channel.  a modern tragedy vol. 2 is available now at all DSPs.

Volume 2 of the modern tragedy series follows grandson’s Fueled By Ramen debut EP, a modern tragedy vol. 1and is an exploration into the heart, into addiction, into power, into disillusionment, and into accepting who you are and not compromising.  Marking some of his most personal work to date,a modern tragedy vol. 2 touches on the environment around grandson and serves as a commentary on gun violence, on apathy and sensationalized media, on truth and martyrdom.

grandson is currently in the middle of his sold-out North American headline “No Apologies Tour,” which continues tonight in Houston, TX at White Oak Music Hall. The North American leg of the tour – which features support from Des Rocs and BarlowLN – is set to continue through April 5th where it will wrap-up at Seattle, WA’s Crocodile Cafe (see attached itinerary). a modern tragedy vol. 1, released this past summer, finds grandson confronting some of the most pressing political and social issues impacting his generation, provoking discourse through a powerful union of art and activism. The five-song EP, which has garnered over 75 million streams, is highlighted by the lead single “Blood // Water”. The track’s official music video – directed by Ride or Cry – is streaming now via the official Fueled By Ramen YouTube channel HERE.

In addition, an official video for the EP’s “6:00” premiered via Billboard who declared, “ he’s making music to send a message — and his latest video is no exception.” Directed by Gus Black, the clip was released in conjunction with Campaign Zero, an activist campaign dedicated to eradicating police violence in America. “6:00” can be viewed now via the official grandson YouTube channel HERE.

2018 also saw the release of grandson’s BLOOD // EDITSan all-new remix EP featuring five exclusive remixes of “Blood // Water” created by such luminaries as Tom Morello, AWOLNATION, Krupa, King Kavalier, and 22 Bullets & Ghost. The EP is available now at all streaming services HERE.

grandson has spent much of the past year on the road, including tours alongside Nothing But Thieves, Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers, Joywave, and Rat Boy.
