Avenged Sevenfold have taken to Twitter to express their feelings about their Grammy Nomination for ‘Best Rock Song’ for their song “The Stage” up against Foo Fighters, K.Flay, Metallica, and Nothing More in this category. However, Avenged Sevenfold are “Honored” to be nominated for the category at the Grammys, The band refuses to attend the Grammys Ceremony as the Grammys have removed ‘Best Rock Song’ from the telecast.

Avenged Sevenfold replied to a fan on twitter named , who asked the band “How do you feel about being nominated for a Grammy?? ” in which Avenged replied saying “Honored. Unfortunately they have taken “Best Rock Song” off the telecast this year so we won’t be attending. Maybe next time.” The band also wish the best of luck to the others nominated in the category on Twitter saying, “Good Luck to the nominees on Sunday. Continuing to say, “Regardless of the outcome, we want to thank each and every fan for their continued support.”
