This summer, country music icon, George Strait, and eight-time GRAMMY winner, Chris Stapleton, made history by setting attendance records at seven stadium shows.

Their electrifying journey continues into 2024 with nine additional dates. Joining them for this extended series of one-off stadium performances are special guests and GRAMMY Award-winning band Little Big Town.

Announced New Stadium Shows

In addition to the just-announced summer stadium shows in Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Ames, Charlotte, East Rutherford, Salt Lake City, Detroit and Chicago, George Strait will also elevate his long-running Strait to Vegas show with a December performance at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, marking the 37th installment of this iconic engagement.

“I’ve always said we have the best fans in the world, and to see so many of them show up for these shows just makes us want to keep bringing them more,” Strait shared in a statement. “I’ve also missed performing in Las Vegas during NFR, so I’m happy to see that show come together in 2024. See you soon!”

Fans hoping to score tickets to this legendary lineup of shows will have the opportunity to do so beginning Friday, September 22 at 10 am local time. Tickets for the Jacksonville, Florida concert will go on sale on Friday, October 20 at 10 am local time.

American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. local time.

Additional ticketing information can be found on Strait’s official website, GeorgeStrait.com.

Mutual Respect And Admiration For Each Other

The artists have a mutual respect and admiration for each other, so it’s no surprise that the tour has been extended.

“I love George’s shows. There’s nothing to compare it to,” Stapleton previously shared of King George. “I love doing these shows with George probably more than anything. It’s really fun. It feels like a good thing all the way around. And, when the fans are winning, we’re winning.”

“When we talked about doing these six shows next year with Chris, it was a no-brainer,” Strait added. “For me, I was all in. I love working with Chris, it’s a whole lot of fun.”

At the time, George Strait hinted that there may be more in the works between them.

“Maybe something will happen in the future. Maybe we can do something together,” he said.

Recently, musician Brent Mason shared a photo from the Nashville-area Castle Recording Studios and said he was working on “new music for the King” and “a little Chris Stapleton too.” There’s no word on if a collaboration is in the works, but these studio photos have certainly prompted speculation among fans.
