WATCH: Garth Brooks Teases “Huge News,” Could It Be A Las Vegas Or A Nashville Residency?

Seven-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Garth Brooks has BIG news, and it’s coming very soon – on Tuesday morning (Oct. 19) to be exact.

During his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook Live on Monday (Oct. 18) evening, the country icon responded to a fan who asked about a rumor of a residency at Caesars in Las Vegas.

“That’s what we’re trying to figure out. 2022 will be the last year of the Stadium Tour… It’s the last year. We will hopefully end up with the biggest show we can possibly end the Stadium tour with,” Brooks teased.

He admitted that they are working to “figure out” what they’re “going to do with their lives” after that.

“Try to remember, I’m also married to someone who’s ten times more talented than me that wants to maybe take a look at Broadway, do some of this other stuff too,” he added, referencing his longtime love Trisha Yearwood. “So, I want to be fair to her as her partner, but if I could do a residency like The Wynn show again, I would do it in a heartbeat. I had such a good, good time.”

Earlier this month, rumors swirled that Brooks was launching a Vegas residency at some point late this year or early next year.

Vital Vegas reported that Brooks and Adele are soon expected to announce a Vegas Residency, which according to the publication’s sources, it will take place at Caesars Palace at Colosseum.

During his chat with fans, Brooks shared that he would love to have a residency in both Sin City and Music City.

“What would be fun would be to somehow do a residency in Vegas and in Nashville, because they got great places to play here,” he acknowledged. “Now, I’m not going to drop the ball as tomorrow’s a pretty big announcement.”

Brooks encouraged fans to stay tuned for news on Tuesday.

“You will get your answer tomorrow morning,” he teased. “I’m excited ‘cause always team your name with something much bigger than your name and tomorrow we’re gonna announce the marriage of Garth Brooks and someone who Garth Brooks is very, very lucky to get to be playing with.”

The last time Brooks played a concert residency in Las Vegas was at The Wynn’s Encore Theatre. The residency took place from December 2009 to January 2014 and featured acoustic concerts from Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Before closing out the show, Brooks teased that the shows may be coming sooner than fans think, adding, “It would be crazy if it were for Thanksgiving of this year… I mean, can you imagine? Whew, that would be just so quick.”

Brooks warned that tickets would be “extremely limited,” before admitting, “I fear I said too much.”
