Gabby Barrett Becomes First-Ever Female Country Artist to Amass Over 10 Million Single Week Streams
Country superstar Gabby Barrett has become the first-ever female Country artist to amass over 10 million single week streams with 11.3 million streams just this week. Her debut single “I Hope” continues to gain an unstoppable momentum, reigning its seventh consecutive week atop the Country On-Demand Streaming Chart, putting Barrett at the No. 2 spot on Nielsen’s Country On-Demand 2020 Year To Date Chart.
“I Hope” was penned by Barrett alongside songwriters Zach Kale and Jon Nite.
Country Icon Trisha Yearwood virtually surprised Barrett to congratulate her on her unprecedented success on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown. You can see how that all went down below.
The music video for “I Hope” has quickly amassed over 48 Million views on YouTube alone, the video was co-directed by Taylor Kelly and Brian Vaughan and shot in Nashville. Proving her star power as the No. 1 recurrent single at Country radio with “I Hope,” Barrett will launch her sophomore single on June 8 when “The Good Ones” impacts airwaves nationwide. Her debut album, GOLDMINE
is slated for release June 19.
