From Ashes To New just dropped their new song “Scars That I’m Hiding” which features Anders Fridén of In Flames and will appear in the upcoming The Retaliators movie.
The song was created for the soundtrack to the Better Noise Film, The Retaliators, out on-demand in late October 2020.
“Scars That I’m Hiding” without Fridén’s vocals will be included on the band’s much-anticipated new album, PANIC, due out on August 28.
“There is nothing more bad-ass than being able to act alongside so many talented artists and THE RETALIATORS gave us that opportunity!” says Matt Brandyberry. “As kids we grew up with dreams to be musicians and actors and we are beyond grateful to be able to bring both dreams to fruition through this project. We can’t help but feel that all of this is building the hype we know our new album “Panic” deserves. This is only the beginning for what FATN is about to do!”
“We’ve had the pleasure of touring with From Ashes To New a few times, so I was excited when they asked me to do a feature on their new song,” Anders explained of the collaboration. “The end result sounds awesome. Can’t wait to hit the road together again hopefully soon.”
The music video for the song features From Ashes To New members, Anders and some sneak peak footage at the upcoming film.
From Ashes To New is gearing up to released their third full length album, PANIC, in late August as the band’s title track to the record has hit the Top 20 at Active Rock Radio.
PANIC follows their previously released album, The Future.
