“I’m all in, and I think this is the launchpad,” Metts’ explained to the outlet. “This is the very first thing, to get people hopefully interested in me as a person and connecting with my story. And then from there on out, it’s just articulating emotions through music. And I hope to do that for the rest of my life.”
During the May 16 Idol episode, the final four artists will compete for America’s vote, singing three songs including their winner’s single, a personal song choice as well as a song mentored by Billie Eilish’s brother and world renowned producer Finneas.
Additionally, the rest of the Top 7 Idol finalists also released their debut singles, including Chayce Beckham, Willie Spence, Casey Bishop, Grace Kinstler, Arthur Gunn and more.
