Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City executives have officially announced that the resort’s grand opening will be on June 28th, 2018. The date and entertainment lineup were announced at three simultaneous press conferences on Wednesday (April 18th), at Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia, Hard Rock Cafe in New York City, and the Hard Rock Atlantic City preview center at Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City.

The former Trump Taj Mahal casino is being rebranded as a Hard Rock property. Guests will drive past a massive electric guitar at its entrance, and will even be given their own electric guitars to play in their hotel rooms with each visit.

It has promised to offer over 200 nights of live music which will include over 300 shows within its first year, and will display part of the world’s largest collection of music memorabilia, including outfits worn by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and an autographed guitar from Jon Bon Jovi.

Acts that are performing at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, NJ were already available on ticketmaster.com Wednesday morning, with acts including Third Eye Blind, Florida Georgia Line, Rascal Flatts, Stone Temple Pilots and Counting Crows, along with Chris Young, Frankie Valli, Toby Keith, Steely Dan and Kid Rock, along with many other acts. 

A Howie Mandel Comedy Club was also announced at the press conference.
