Evanescence revealed that they are releasing a new album this year, with the first single “Wasted On You” releasing on Friday, April 24. Their new fifth studio album is titled, The Bitter Truth, the band will be sharing the album “one piece at a time, starting with “Wasted On You.” Below is a photo of the new album art.
The band will be choosing 50 fans who pre-save their new single “Wasted On You” to join Amy Lee in a Zoom conference call next Thursday (April 23).

The Bitter Truth is the follow-up to their 2017 album, Synthesis.
The band was set to hit the road in Europe this spring on a co-headlining tour with Within Temptation but the tour was forced to be postponed due to the spread of COVID-19.
