Elton John has joined the plethora of artists who are being forced to cancel or postpone their tours, now being forced to postpone his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour as the U.S. goes under lockdown in an attempt to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
This came as an announcement on Monday (March 16) as John said that seventeen of his tour dates will be postponed until 2021. The shows scheduled from March 26 through May 2 are being rescheduled for next year while John also says that his shows scheduled to run from May 22 through July 2 will go as planned.
In a post on Instagram Elton John said, “The health of my fans is of the upmost importantance to me, so I have made the decision to reschedule my upcoming #EltonFarewellTour shows between March 26th – May 2nd. Ticket holders of these shows will receive new event information shortly and all original tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates. Stay safe and look after each other. I love you all xx”
The postponed tour dates includes his scheduled performances in New York City, Hershey, Brooklyn, Columbus, Canada and more.
The below dates will be rescheduled.
