Elle King revealed if she will be taking a break from music after having her baby.

Earlier this year during a Q&A on CTRL_MUSIC_  via Twitch after her Country Now Live performance, King shared how “drunk” duet with Miranda Lambert came to be, if she’d ever duet with her Dad (Rob Schneider), pregnancy cravings and revealed if she would be taking a break after having her baby.

The “Ex’s & Oh’s” hitmaker told Country Now Live host Lauren Jo Black that while she wants to spend some quality bonding time with the baby she finds it hard to stay away from the stage as she loves performing but she will take a brief break but right now she is just taking it one day at a time and will see what happens.

“They asked me, they said ‘Elle, how long do you think you’re going to need?’” King explained during the Q&A. “I said ‘well this is my first baby, so I don’t know, I guess give me six months’ but you know I can’t stay away from the stage. So, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I gotta take it one day at a time and I’ve got to give this baby a fair shot at bonding with me. So, I’d say about three days. Give me three days.”

In the coming weeks, the Country Now Live series will feature performances by Gabby Barrett (06/23), Kip Moore (06/30) and more to be announced. Country Now Live airs every Wednesday on CTRL_MUSIC_, exclusively on Twitch.
