Electric Sister is a Oakland-based hard rock/metal group consisting of Thadeus Gonzales, MyKill Ziggy, Eddie Colmenares, Jason Kay, and Nicholas Hernandez.

With their music, they bring an old school heavy sound, which can be heard on their new single, “Miss American Vampire.” This 5-piece band started in 2011, combining intense riffs and raw lyrics, along with an over-the-top attitude. So far, their music has given them the opportunity to play at countless venues up and down the west coast!

They didn’t just win over one area though. Their dirty rock anthems helped them grow a steady following worldwide.

A big part of what connects the band to their fans, is the fact that each member of the band has had their fair share of tough times, which shows in their music. They also have fun songs though, such as the track, “Miss American Vampire.” To us, this feels more like a song to dance to, especially around spooky season, aka Halloween.

With lyrics like, “Black nails / Pale flesh, Gisabelle / Hollywood forever / Cemetary lover, dressed to kill,” and “Can I go out and kill tonight? Take a bite,” you can clearly tell the track is 100% about a vampire! What do you think?
