Dzaki Sukarno stunned the American Idol judges so much with his cover of Kane Brown’s “Good As You,” that it earned him a golden ticket to Hollywood.
The 20-year-old farmer from New Mexico was included during Idol’s ‘Across America‘ segment, which showcased virtual audition tapes. Sukarno, who originally auditioned from his home, officially made his way to California for a live, in person audition. Performing the Kane Brown hit in front of Idol judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. An unforgettable moment that he will never forget.
Unfortunately, his audition was cut short on the televised portion of the show, but that didn’t stop him from making a memorable mark on Bryan, Perry and Richie.
“This talent’s got my head swimming,” Bryan gushed in amazement, after taking a deep breath.
