Dua Lipa Soars With In-Air Performance Of “Levitating” At 2020 AMAs

Dua Lipa performed her single “Levitating” at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 22). The singer took flight during her performance flying throughout the venue.

her second studio album, Future Nostalgia (2020). The song was written by Lipa, Clarence Coffee Jr., Sarah Hudson and Stephen Kozmeniuk, with the image of Mike Myers in Austin Powers in mind.

The 2020 American Music Awards also featured performances from Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, BTS, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion and Shawn Mendes, Bebe Rexha feat. Doja Cat, Katy Perry and Darius Rucker, Bell Biv DeVoe, Jennifer Lopez with Maluma, The Weeknd, Kenny G, Machine Gun Kelly, Lewis Capaldi, Dan + Shay and Billie Eilish.

The awards was produced by dick clark productions. Amy Thurlow, Barry Adelman, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn are executive producers. Larry Klein is producer. The “2020 American Music Awards” is sponsored by Cheetos, T-Mobile and Xfinity.

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, The AMAs aired on Wednesday, November 22 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET) on ABC.
