Drake surprised fans with a new song entitled “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring rapper Lil Durk on Friday (August 14). The track comes from his forthcoming new album, Certified Lover Boy.

The Dave Meyers-directed music video that accompanies the new song “Laugh Now Cry Later” was show at Nike World Headquarters and features cameos from Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., and Marshawn Lynch. The track was co-produced by Cardogotwings, GRy, Yung Exclusive, and Roget Chahayed.

This song marks Drake’s first major single since ‘Tootsie Slide’ in April 2020.

Drake announced the forthcoming new album, Certified Lover Boy, nonchalantly via Instagram when releasing the lead single for the album.
