Country Superstar and Grammy Nominee, Dierks Bentley brought his Somewhere On A Beach Tour to Camden, NJ/Philadelphia for an explosive night of country music on Saturday, May 14th. Dierks Bentley with two certified platinum albums, eight certified gold singles, and two platinum singles and one killer stage presence, He is guaranteed to give you one hell of a night with a flawless show with an amazing production. His newest single and the name of this tour, Somewhere On A Beach is his 14th number one single and this is why he played to a nearly sold out crowd at the BB&T Pavillon. Opening the summer concert season at BB&T Pavillon as the first performer to perform at the newly named BB&T Pavillon (Formerly Susquehanna Bank Center).

A cold breeze and some rain didn’t stop the party, it only pushed beer-chugging country music loving concertgoers deeper into the Amphitheater and closer to the stage as it neared closer to Dierks Bentley’s set time; Although the lawn seating area that wasn’t covered just got down and muddy in the rain and still had a blast, Thankfully by the time Bentley came on the rain was only minor drops here and there. Dierks Bentley’s 18 song setlist was a great combination of Bentley’s hits from 2003’s self titled record and blending his 2014’s Riser hits in as well, and also has included the title track and a few other songs from his upcoming eighth studio album, BLACK; Which comes out May 27th via Capitol Nashville. As well as the song which is the tour is named after, Somewhere On A Beach from the 2014 release of Riser. Bentley hit the stage at approximately 9:15pm and kicked it off with 2010 hit, “Up on the Ridge” which immediately ignited the crowd into instant singing and dance along and that constant movement didn’t stop with this song it lasted all the way to the encore. The fans got louder and louder as the night progressed, where at times they were louder then Bentley himself. As the night went on and Bentley sang hit after hit the crowd getting rowdier and rowdier as the songs kept coming.  One of the more emotional moments during the show came during “I Hold On,” which is in memory of Dierks Bentley’s father.  As the crowd loudly sang along, he told them that was always his favorite part of the night.  Later, Dierks decided to get a little closer to the audience and an interact directly with them by taking the stage at what is called B stage which happens to be in the center of the crowd in the Amphitheater making for a better view for those in attendance on the lawn as well. From the main stage to the B stage, Dierks’ knows how to get every single part of the crowd involved in the show, keeping them entertained even if he’s not right in front of them to see. During the encore, Captain Dierks entered the stage on an actual Dude Airplane. Cam, Randy Houser, & Tucker Beathard joined him on stage once more, before members of the crew ran out, some dressed in their Riser Air flight attire and flight attendant outfits.  After concluding the song as the show end, Dierks Bentley stayed on stage to sign pretty much anything people handed or tossed to him for a few minutes, allowing the fans to take him some memorabilia signed by the man him.
