Diamante - BITE YOUR KISS Song Review‘Bite Your Kiss’ is the first single off the the highly anticipated EP from teen rocker Diamante. This 17 year old is taking the music industry by storm; having shared the stage with the likes of The Used, Dead Sara, All Time Low, Yellowcard, and more! She beat out numerous acts in Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands and earned herself a spot on the Vans Warped Tour! This track is nothing short of edgy and badass. I’d say Diamante is right up there with Joan Jett and Pat Benatar. This girl is amazing, full of energy, in your face, and filled with kickassness. It isn’t what you expect when you think ‘17 year old girl’. It’s rough, powerful, fun, and just a little bit sexy. The rawness of her voice on the track isn’t something you hear often, especially with female artists no matter the genre. Personally, the end is my favorite; “dude, someone shit in the punch bowl!” Classic. Diamante is a blonde bombshell who I can tell is going to be huge, look out boys!

Rating: 5/5- I’ve been handing out a lot of these lately, but this girl, holy shit. I mean when I was 17 I was trying to find people to buy me cigarettes. In a way Diamante makes me think of Ke$ha, fun, living it up, badass and making waves in what is mostly a male dominated genre (and world). She has amazing potential and I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2014 and beyond holds for her. We are anxiously awaiting the release of her EP here at Music Mayhem; can’t wait to hear it! Be sure to check out Diamante on SoundCloud and YouTube and see what all the fuss is about!
