Darren Criss wowed viewers with an epic performance of one of their iconic hits.

The show’s host, Criss, performed Queen’s most recognizable hit, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” on Thursday (Nov. 4) evening during The Queen Family Singalong. Sitting at a grande piano, the Emmy-award winning actor belted out the lyrics to the iconic hit song.

“When you think of the components of what make a great band, where everybody is pulling a significant amount of weight and on their own are a force to be reckoned with,” Criss said of the popular rock group. “Queen has sort of nailed that for anybody that loves music. You can take each individual piece, and they’ve all each contributed something pretty iconic to the fact that these four forces came together and created this band is quite extraordinary.”

Hosted by Darren Criss, The Queen Family Singalong aired on Thursday, November 4 at 8/7c on ABC.

“I’m a massive Queen fan, like anybody else,” Criss said of his hosting duties. “So, I don’t know why, I don’t know how, but they must’ve caught wind of this, and they were crazy enough to ask me to host this, and I was happy to answer the call.”
