The country music community is mourning the loss of beloved actor, Leslie Jordan, who tragically died on Monday (Oct. 24) in a fatal car crash.
As the news of Jordan’s passing spread, his famous friends and collaborators took to social media to remember the late comedian with heartfelt tributes. Brothers Osborne, Tanya Tucker, Jelly Roll, ERNEST, Sara Evans, Randy Houser, Cassadee Pope, and many more were among the list of artists who quickly honored Jordan by sharing memories they shared with the late actor on social media.
“Rest in peace you sweet sweet man,” Brothers Osborne wrote. “You left a fullness in people’s hearts, a smile on their faces, and joy in their souls. We’ll meet again in the sweet by and by, Leslie.”
“The laughter has died along with my funny funny friend, @thelesliejordan. I’m taking some time off the road in another country and I feel so far away on this very sad day,” Tucker shared. “Rest easy with her Leslie… I know God is laughing his crown off!!! 💔💐”
Jelly Roll also shared a photo of himself with Jordan alongside a touching message.
“You were one of the sweetest most caring souls I ever had the encounter of knowing,” Jelly Roll said. “I’m glad I told you I loved you every time we spoke or came across each other. Lord knows the Heavens are celebrating today, meanwhile Your fellow hunker downers already miss you down here. Energy never dies , it transfers.”
Jordan’s longtime friend Kacey Musgraves also shared a message to her Instagram stories.
“Absolutely devastating. What a joyous effervescent light he was. A true luminary,” Musgraves wrote alongside a black and white photo of the two of them. “I feel lucky to have gotten to spend a little time with him. Always left beaming. Rest in rhinestones, Leslie.”

Leslie Jordan tragically died in a fatal car accident on Monday, October 24. According to a report by TMZ, Jordan was driving in Hollywood, California, when he suffered a medical emergency and crashed his BMW into a building.
Following his tragic death, his team shared the sad news on his social media writing, “the love and light that Leslie shared will never go out and we invite you to share your memories and comfort each other during this time. In the coming days we will be giving a glimpse of a project Leslie was really proud of and was looking forward to sharing with the world.”
Jordan was 67 years old and best known for his roles in Will & Grace, Call Me Kat, and American Horror Story.
