Chris Stapleton Stuns With Rock-Infused “Devil Always Made Me Think Twice” On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Chris Stapleton performed his rock-infused new song “Devil Always Made Me Think Twice” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday (Dec. 7) evening.

“Devil Always Made Me Think Twice” was co-written by Stapleton alongside Al Anderson. The track is from his latest album, Starting Over, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Country Albums chart.

Stapleton also was recently a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” performing the album’s title track and speaking with the host (watch the performance HERE and interview HERE). Additionally, Stapleton was also featured last month on NBC’s “Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist,” NPR’s “Morning Edition” and performed an acoustic version of “Starting Over” at the 54th Annual CMA Awards.
