Cheat Codes Release Dolly Parton Collaboration From First-Ever Country Album ‘One Night In Nashville’

Multi-platinum DJ trio Cheat Codes recently shared their newest single from forthcoming debut country album, One Night in Nashville, “Bets On Us.” Released on Friday, January 6, the upbeat new track features country icon Dolly Parton.

“Having Dolly on this album is so surreal and a full circle moment for me personally. As someone who grew up in the Midwest, my family and I would go to her event in the Great Smokey Mountains. Her larger-than-life photos were everywhere and now having a song with one of the biggest music legends of all time and especially in the county space is incredible,” shared Matthew Russell, a member of the trio.

“I love how Bets on Us turned out with Cheat Codes. When I heard this song, I felt like I could contribute something special,” added Parton of the collaboration.

Parton is no stranger to working with Dance/EDM DJs, as tracks “Jolene (Destructo Remix)” released in 2021, #1 Gold-certified “Faith” with Galantis & Mr. Probz in 2019, “Peace Train” remix in 1997, extended play of “Potential New Boyfriend” in 1983 and “Baby I’m Burnin’”/“I Wanna Fall In Love” in 1978 all saw great success.

Set to drop on January 27, One Night in Nashville is a new endeavor for the genre fluid trio that have shared projects in the past that fall under the electronic dance, pop and alt-rock genres. All 15 tracks were produced by Cheat Codes.

“Going to the coolest city ever after making one song turned into fourteen and we wanted to make an entire album,” explained Trevor Dahl, KEVI and Russell, the three names that make up the Cheat Codes. “We knew it was a different world musically from the one we lived in, but we knew we wanted to be a part of it.”

They continued, “We felt so comforted and welcomed by this incredible community of creators. The journey that began two years ago now gets to be heard around the world, and we could not be more excited about this collection of songs.”
