On August 18th, 2016 it was Country Music Night at Citizens Bank Park; And after a Philadelphia Phillies win against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chase Rice took to the Phillies Baseball field to perform to packed stadium seats and 1,500 fans who were lucky enough to obtain field access to watch the show. Chase Rice launched his set with “Do It Like This” as the fans screamed along and it began to rain lightly, and Philadelphia Phillies own Catcher, Cameron Rupp sang along next to the stage after he and 92.5 XTU announced him to the stage earlier. As Chase Rice entered into his second song “How She Rolls” the rain let loose and began to downpour drenching the fans, the gear, the field, stage and equipment which then the venue was forcing them to end their set due to the weather but Chase Rice being driven, and dedicated to his loyal fans he wasn’t stopping before ending his unfortunately brief set due to the rain, he told the fans “Unfortunately, We have to end our set due to the weather but we will be back to make this up to you Philly!” then going right into his biggest hit which launched his Country Music Career, “Ready Set Roll.” Chase Rice is a musician who is very dedicated to his fans and always put on one of the best live shows you’ll ever see and loves to include his fans within his set no matter what condition he is given. So during “Ready Set Roll” He jumped off the stage and took to the field to sing with the fans behind the barricade, even going into the seats and dancing on top of the dugout with a few fans who decided to jump up there with him. As the song ended that did not stop Chase Rice from interacting with his fans from signing everything he possibly could before he was forced to leave the crowd to hugging and touching hands with the fans on his way out of the crowd to leave the field. Although his set was unfortunately cut short by the unfortunate weather, Chase Rice still put on a great show and satisfied his fans craving of seeing him after sitting through a almost 3-hour Phillies Game. We look forward to Chase Rice’s return to Philadelphia as he promised, Keep an eye out on Chase Rice’s socials for all his updates!
