Chase Rice brought his ‘Lambs And Lions‘ Tour to Philadelphia on January 20th for a loud, rowdy, rockin’ evening of music, blending his smash hits with his soon to be smash hits from his latest record Lambs And Lions. This making for an incredible 90-minute 17 song set. Launching the evening was the impeccably dressed, Brooke Eden, who performed her 30-minute set flawlessly and included a beautiful rendition of Elle King’s “Ex’s & Oh’s” and her song “Daddy’s Money” which was a highlight of her set.
Rice Bursting onto the stage at about 9:00pm to his new song “Lions” after a hysterical video introduction of his crew flooding the lcd video backdrop. “Lions” was a perfect way to launch the set into a sing-a-long dance party as the crowd roared the lyrics back to him. Rice’s smile shining brightly throughout his entire set and never leaving his face, especially when the crowd knew all the words to his new song “Eyes On You.” That was not the only song he performed off his new album though, and it was definitley not the only one that fans seemed to love as they sang along to all of the others as well. His setlist included “Lions,” “Three Chords & The Truth,” “On Tonight,” and “Jack Daniels Showed Up,” from his new album, Lambs And Lions. The only song not performed that was a fan favorite but that was not on this new album but was a great single released in 2017, “If I’m Bein’ Honest.” Rice’s band (Marcelo Bakos on Bass, Jeremy Roberson on Drums, Chris Loocke on Lead Guitar, and John Souki on Guitar) have a great bond with Rice on stage, very interactive with the fans, and giving all of their energy on stage making for a much more entertaining, enjoyable performance.

During the launch of this song Rice began to sing the lyrics “Take off those heels, lay on my bed” and the crowd screamed the lyrics back to him, before bringing out Brooke Eden and seductively serenading her to this song whilst she sat beside him on a stool. Rice ended this show with his smash hit single “Ready Set Roll,” then receiving a roaring applause from the crowd who absolutely adored his new music and the show. The production on this tour is very notable as well as it was a massive LCD video backdrop showcasing different personal videos and designs that perfectly fit each song and great lighting.
