Rising Country singer/songwriter Chase Martin’s debut single “Love Without You” has entered Top 30 on Radio Disney Country. The “irresistible” and “infectious” (CelebMix) song released on February 15 and is the first taste of the viral cover artist’s debut EP, slated to release this Summer.

To celebrate the milestone release, the 20-year-old ball of energy stopped by Today In Nashville to introduce herself and perform “Love Without You.” In the spirit of fun, she performed a hilarious “10 Minute Tune” on Cumulus’ The Ty Bentli Show based on Miranda Lambert’s new last name, ‘Miranda McLoughlin.’

Before creating a devoted fanbase of her own with viral cover videos on her social media, the Charleston native broke the news to her parents that she had decided to pursue music by signing up for her school’s talent show at age 9. Her puzzled mother replied with, “Chase, you don’t sing and you don’t own a guitar” to which she replied, “well, I’m going to need one.” Things took a more serious turn when she shifted her career path from medicine to music and chose a new life in Music City to focus on music over offers from numerous ivy league colleges. Shortly after making the move to Nashville, she found herself performing regularly at the legendary Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room. Inspired by everyone from Miranda Lambert and Patsy Cline to Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin, Martin’s developed a sound all her own that marries the storytelling of country with the vocal stylings of R&B.
