Casey Bishop set the American Idol stage on fire with an electrifying cover of Motley Crue’s “Live Wire.”
On Sunday, May 16, the Idol contestant gave the first time performance of her debut single “Love Me, Leave Me” before bursting into a cover of an iconic Motley Crue hit.
“Thank you guys, I’m taking it back to my first audition, this is Motley Crue’s ‘Live Wire,’” Bishop said before busting into a fierce cover of the Crue hit.

“Live wire, you can be so whimsical and then right in the middle of the whole thing you drop the bomb,” Lionel Richie said. “I loved it. It’s stardust all over you. I want front row seats and backstage passes!”
“Okay, my favorite song right now is ‘Love Me, Leave Me.’” Perry gushed with a smile on her face. “That was great! Great way to pick and contribute to a great first song off the bat.”
Unfortunately, when the Top 3 was revealed at the end of the show, Bishop didn’t make it.
