Casey Bishop nailed a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Wish You Were Gay” on American Idol.

On Sunday, May 16, the Idol contestant performed a song produced by Finneas. Bishop’s Eilish cover blew us and the Idol judges away as she sounded flawless.

Following her impressive performance, Idol judges raved over her vocal talents.

“That was crushed! I mean you just crushed every aspect of that whole thing,” Bryan gushed. “In my opinion it was your best, it was the perfect song to choose and seeing you have so much fun with Finneas.”

“You now own your persona,” Richie said. “You killed it my dear, I loved it.”

“I mean you found your stardust and you’re rolling around in it,” Perry added. “you found that instant identity. You look up to Billie Eilish but whether or not you win American Idol, you are going to be your next hero.”

Additionally, Bishop performed a duet of Finneas’ “Break My Heart Again” alongside fellow Idol contestant Chayce Beckham as well as the live debut of her single “Love Me, Leave Me.”
