Carrie Underwood Joins Brad Paisley in Hilarious ‘Mud On The Tires’ TV Segment

Brad Paisley brought his hysterical television special, Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special, to ABC Tuesday night (Dec. 3). The one-hour tv special featured a handful of musical performances as well as several hilarious, SNL-style skits. One of the show’s most buzzed-about moments however, was when Paisley and Carrie Underwood, reunited to go mudding together in his truck.

The idea behind the skit was for Paisley and Underwood to play off of Comedians in Cars Drinking Coffee, but do it Nashville-style with sweet tea and mud.

“What I was thinking is that we’d go around in this truck and we’d go muddin’,” Paisley told Underwood. “I’ll drive you around and do some interviewing.”

Underwood enthusiastically replied, “Yeah, I love it.” Then insisted, “I’m driving.”

“Oh, come on that’s adorable,” he laughed. “But let me do it, I know what I’m doing out here.”

Underwood then demanded the keys. “Hand over the keys cowboy,” she said before jumping into the red Chevrolet.

As Paisley sat in the passenger’s seat, Underwood told him, “You’re gonna want to buckle up.”

Underwood immediately floored it, scaring Paisley half to death.

“You’re gonna want to go slow at first,” he suggested, later confessing he “peed” himself as she was driving.

The “Southbound” singer wasn’t having it. “Oh no we good,” she said.

As they continue on their wild ride, Underwood admitted that while she and her husband, Mike Fisher, have a truck at home, he never lets her drive.

“I can’t imagine why,” Paisley sarcastically replied as he gripped tightly onto the handle above his head.

Underwood was just one of the many celebrity guests featured on Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special. Other celebrities who joined in the fun include Peyton Manning, Tim McGraw, the Jonas Brothers, Hootie and The Blowfish and Kelsea Ballerini.
