Carrie Underwood hit the jackpot in Las Vegas with her electrifying REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, at the brand-new Resorts Theatre on the Vegas strip.
On Friday, May 13, Underwood made her grand appearance to Las Vegas’ largest and tallest stage in a massive glass crystal as she kicked off her electrifying set with a show-stopping performance of “Cowboy Casanova,” a track from her 2009 project, Play On.
Throughout the set, Underwood reflected on her longevity with a set list that spanned her entire 17-year career, including songs from her debut project, Some Hearts, all the way up to 2018’s Cry Pretty. During the impressive 19-song set, Underwood more than delivered vocally as she took fans on a celebratory journey of her award-winning career, while performing some of her greatest hits such as “Dirty Laundry,” “Wasted,” “Good Girl,” “Undo It,” “Last Name,” “Church Bells,” “Blown Away,” among many others.
The larger than life production amplified the three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year’s star power to shine even brighter (although it’s not necessary as her powerhouse vocals speak volumes). The show, which marks Underwood’s first-ever Las Vegas Residency, featured a top-notch production that brought Underwood’s chart-topping hits to life, captivating the sold-out crowd.
The 5,000-capacity theatre allowed Underwood to deliver an intimate, yet massive, show with an innovative production that couldn’t be brought on the road.
The eight-time GRAMMY award-winner’s stellar production included special effects, state-of-the-art technology, a waterfall, pyrotechnics, massive video walls, a moving stage and so much more, making for a visually stunning concert event. Her high-energy performance also featured her very talented band, dancers, aerialists, and a virtual orchestra.
Underwood, who was the first artist to grace the theatre’s stage, sparkled throughout the evening in a stunning array of one-of-a-kind costumes, each of which were complete with sparkles or rhinestone fringe.
While Underwood’s powerhouse vocals were put on full display throughout the entire show, there were several jaw-dropping vocal moments, especially noted when she delivered soaring renditions of “How Great Thou Art,” “Cry Pretty” and “Something In The Water/Amazing Grace.”
Underwood gave fans a breathtaking finale from a never-before-seen waterfall wall, where she delivered an performance of “Something In The Water” that was so good it sent chills down fans spines.

With a visually-stunning production, Underwood’s powerhouse vocals and a slew of chart-topping hits, REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency is surely one of the best shows on the Las Vegas strip and a force to be reckoned with. And while Underwood’s residency is being put on pause as she prepares to embark on her 43-city headlining Denim & Rhinestones Arena Tour, the Oklahoma native promises that she will be back in 2023 for another string of shows at the incredible Resorts World Theatre.
