Carly Pearce and Lee Brice performed their chart-topping hit single “I Hope You’re Happy Now” during the 2021 ACM Awards on Sunday, April 18.
“I’m so excited to hit the stage but also so excited to finally get to sing this song with Lee,” Pearce explained ahead of her and Brice’s performance. Later adding, “this performance – the reason I chose Lee to sing this song – is because I’m such a fan of him as a singer. This song is a true duet and vocal moment and we’re going to make it all about the vocal.”
