BTS Performs On The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards For First-Time Ever — WATCH

BTS took to the MTV Video Music Award for the first-time ever with their latest single “Dynamite” on Sunday (Aug. 30).

“Dynamite” is a Disco Pop single that sings of joy and confidence, bringing a new surge of much-needed ‘energy’ to reinvigorate the global community.

In this song, the global superstars find happiness by doing again what they do best: engaging in a perpetual cycle of giving and receiving joy with the world through music and performances.

It also marks BTS’ first song to be released completely in English; having sought a “breakthrough” to overcome a sense of disheartenment from within the new global climate, BTS embarks on a new challenge through “Dynamite.”

BTS was among the many incredible performances including Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, CNCO, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Maluma, The Weeknd and others.

Hosted by Keke Palmer, The 2020 MTV VMAs aired on Sunday, August 30th at 8PM ET/PT broadcasted across 11 ViacomCBS brands including BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nick at Nite, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1, as well as The CW, making it available to an expanded broadcast audience for the first time.
