Well, Bruno Mars is kicking off 2018 with a remix of his song ‘Finesse’ featuring chart-topping rapper, Cardi B. The song ‘Finesse’ originally appeared on his 2013 third studio album, 24k Magic which featured hits like ‘That’s What I Like,’ and of course the title track ‘24k Magic.’ The announcement of this remix with Cardi B was announced by Bruno Mars himself on his Instagram where he posted a photo of the remix single artwork, saying “Start your 2018 with Big Bronx Boogie Herself @iamcardib and me Midnight Tonight EST #Finesse.” This announcement comes after the remix has been rumored online for quite some time and Mar’s was also rumored to be releasing a single on January 4th, 2018, so this must be that.
Cardi B has been having a great year so far with her own singles and many of the songs that she has been featured on. On Tuesday (Jan. 2nd), Billboard reported the rapper Cardi B has tied The Beatles and Ashanti as the only musical acts to have their first three singles chart on the Top Hot 100 singles in the top 10 of the chart. All three of Cardi’s songs achieved the top 10 this week including, G-Eazy’s ‘No Limit,’ Migos, Nicki Minaj, feat Cardi’s ‘MotorSport‘ and Cardi’s own single, ‘Bodak Yellow.’ So we are thinking this Bruno Mars remix featuring Cardi B will more than likely be her next single in the Top 100 chart on Billboard making for even more history.
