Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson.Paak) slowed things down with a piano ballad rendition of their “Leave The Door Open” from ‘Club Usher.’
On Thursday, May 27, Mars and .Paak performed the track from a candle lit grande piano with minimal production. However, that didn’t stop Silk Sonic from from giving on a stunning performance of the popular hit and the duo’s debut single.
The 2021 iHeartRadio Awards also featured performances from The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Dan + Shay, Usher, Doja Cat, and Demi Lovato, H.E.R. & Brandi Carlile honored Elton John with a special tribute.
In addition to the performers, the iHeartRadio Awards included a star-studded list of special appearances from LL Cool J, Chris Martin, Lil Nas X, Nelly, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana, Lil Jon, Robin Thicke, Joel McHale, Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman, Gabby Barrett, Ava Max, Raphael Saadiq, AJR, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch, twenty one pilots as well as Megan Thee Stallion.
