Eldredge, who has appeared on CMA Country Christmas six times since its inception in 2010, said this year’s performance is a bit different from anything he’s done in the past.
“It’s really cool, and it feels like I’m in a living room because I am in a living room in a beautifully decorated house, and I’m walking down the stairs and singing to a live band in my living room just jamming out and there’s so much joy and so much happiness in it, and it’s rocking, and it’s soulful, and it’s big band jazzy,” he shared ahead of the show. “It’s just a lot of fun and sure to make people dance wherever they are.”

The chart-topping country star is currently in the midst of his Glow Live 2021 Tour. Eldredge’s Christmas tour is set to run through Dec. 18. Fans can visit his official website for details. https://www.bretteldredge.com/mrchristmas?ref=Typed/Bookmarked
“Merry Christmas Baby” appears on Eldredge’s new holiday release, Mr. Christmas, which features 11 festive tracks.
“I really think some of the last of the magic left in this world is in Christmas music,” Eldredge shared when releasing the album. “There’s a lot of joy in this record – even more than the first in some ways – and I wanted to tip a hat to where I started … but also take it to the soulful side of my music. The world is the world, and life comes at you like it does, but I hope you find some joy in this music. I hope it softens life a little bit and puts a smile on someone’s face when they need it. If it does, I’ve done my job.”
Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce joined forces to co-host CMA Country Christmas, which aired on Monday, November 29 on ABC.
The star-studded show also featured festive performances by Barrett, Pearce, Jimmie Allen with Louis York and The Shindellas, BRELAND, Lady A, Pistol Annies, Carrie Underwood and Lainey Wilson.
Beginning November 30, the CMA Country Christmas will be available to watch anytime on demand and available to stream on Hulu.
