Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood are gearing up to give a second show-stopping performance of their smash hit, “If I Didn’t Love You.”

On Sunday, Nov. 21, the country superstars are set to join forces to perform their chart-topping hit at the 2021 American Music Awards, marking their second time ever performing the tune.

The performance follows the live debut of the duet, which took place during the 2021 CMA Awards on Wednesday evening (Nov. 10).

The exciting news was revealed via the all-genre award show’s Instagram on Thursday (Nov. 11).

“@carrieunderwood and @jasonaldean are bringing their smash hit duet “If I Didn’t Love You” to the #AMAs!” the AMAs shared on Instagram. ”You don’t want to miss this unforgettable performance showcasing their Southern roots! It’s all happening Sunday, Nov 21 at 8/7c on ABC. #JasonCarrieAMAs”

“If I Didn’t Love You” was co-written by Aldean’s bandmates Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy alongside John Morgan and Lydia Vaughan. It was produced by the superstar’s longtime collaborator Michael Knox.

The emotional track, which is the singer’s current single at country radio, finds Aldean and Underwood crooning over an ex, admitting that moving on has not been easy. The track opens with Aldean’s signature vocals. Underwood joins him on the chorus as they admit to experiencing heartache following a breakup.

The multi-week chart-topper became Aldean’s 26th No.1 hit and serves as the lead single of his forthcoming 10th studio album, Macon, Georgia.
