BREAKING: Ed Sheeran Announces 21-Date North American Tour

Ed Sheeran just announced a massive North American stadium tour for 2023!

On Monday, October 3, the superstar revealed the exciting tour news with fans in a video on YouTube. The clip features Sheeran in a mathematics class as the teacher of the classroom recites different forms of math. As the teacher recites each of the mathematical operations, including + – = ÷ x, all of which are names of Sheeran albums, songs of Sheeran’s soundtrack the clip from that era of his career. The video concluded with the official tour announcement of his Mathematics Tour.

The trek, known as the “+ – = ÷ x Tour” a.k.a. “The Mathematics Tour,” will kick off in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium on May 6 and is set to run throughout Summer of 2023. The Mathematics Tour will wrap up on September 23 in Inglewood, CA at SoFi Stadium.

Sheeran is bringing along special guests Khalid (May 6 – Sept. 2), Russ (Sept. 9 – 23), Dylan, Rosa Linn, Cat Burns, and Maisie Peters, all of whom will appear on select dates of the trek.

The tour, which is Sheeran’s first North American trek since his much-anticipated 2018 Divide Tour, marks the hitmakers first stateside concerts in nearly five years.

Sheeran’s just-announced tour is in support of his 2021 project, Equals. The album marks Sheeran’s fourth full length project to top the Billboard 100 chart.

Additionally, Sheeran recently dropped the Pokémon music video for “Celestial” and is scheduled to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Oct. 13 and Good Morning America on Oct. 14.
