Bring Me The Horizon have unleashed their first new single “Mantra” since the release of their fifth studio album, That’s The Spirit. The new single “Mantra” premiered today (August 21st) on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 Show, the track features the lyrics “Do you wanna start a cult with me?,” which were the same lyrics found on London Billboards teasing the bands return.

“It just felt like the right song to show people first,” vocalist Oli Sykes told the BBC DJ Annie Mac about the new single. “We wanna do heavy in a completely different way. We wanna do catchy in a completely different way.”

Speaking to DJ Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Oli Sykes teased that another announcement is coming in the ‘next couple of days’. Mac asked if there was an album, he replied: “I don’t wanna say. I say, I don’t wanna say – I don’t care – but I’ve been told to focus on this song. We’ve been working on stuff and we’ve got something exciting to announce in the next couple of days. I’m told if you go on our website there’ll be more information.”

While no tour dates are yet announced, Bring Me The Horizon are heavily rumored to perform as a ‘secret set’ at this year’s Reading & Leeds festival.
